Sheffield City Council is one of the UK's largest social landlords, responsible for nearly 40,000 council homes and delivering services that make a real difference to the lives of tenants and residents across the city.
We are transforming our Housing Service to create a modern, high-performing, customer-focused landlord that is safe, compliant, evidence-led and accountable to residents. As part of this transformation, we have created a new specialist Strategy & Regulation function to strengthen strategic leadership, regulatory assurance, performance management and tenant influence across Housing.
We are now seeking a Performance and Insight Service Manager to lead our newly established Housing Performance and Insight Service.

Reporting to the Assistant Director of Strategy & Regulation, you will provide strategic leadership for Housing performance, data, insight and tenant engagement. You will ensure that high-quality information, evidence and resident feedback are used to support decision-making, drive service improvement, strengthen compliance and deliver better outcomes for tenants and residents.
You will lead the development and implementation of Housing's performance and data framework, ensuring robust governance, data quality and assurance arrangements are in place. Working closely with senior leaders, service managers and corporate colleagues, you will help create a culture where performance intelligence and tenant voice drive improvement and accountability across the organisation.
The role also provides strategic oversight of tenant engagement and involvement, ensuring resident feedback is embedded in service planning, performance management and improvement activity. This is fundamental to our ambition to strengthen co-regulation and meet the expectations of the Regulator of Social Housing.
You will lead a multidisciplinary team including performance, insight, data and tenant engagement professionals, helping to shape the future direction of Housing Services and supporting continuous improvement across one of the largest housing providers in the country.
