Service Manager

A Qualified Social Worker registered with Social Work England with significant experience in a hospital environment.

  • 3‑month contract
  • 37 hours per week
  • £28.25 per hour
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Social Work qualification or equivalent (MA, BA in Social Work, Dip SW, CQSW or CSS)
  • Management qualification and / or significant management experience
  • Current registration with Social Work England
EXPERIENCE
  • Extensive experience within social care or a related service
  • Considerable experience as a Team Manager or equivalent in Social Care, with relevant assessment function for the role portfolio
  • Managing, motivating and leading front‑line managers and teams in a complex organisational setting
  • Working within deadlines and targets
  • Change and performance management
  • Management and monitoring of budgets
  • Partnership working with other statutory and voluntary agencies
  • Financial competence
  • Performance review and planning
  • Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills
  • IT systems including Microsoft Office
