Full time hours on a temporarybasis

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Service Manager to lead and develop all aspects of our parking services. This is a pivotal role responsible for managing staff, overseeing on- and off-street parking, civil parking enforcement, and moving traffic enforcement. You will also provide strategic advice and support to senior management in shaping policy and service objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain the parking strategy in line with relevant legislation and best practice.
  • Manage the performance of parking contractors to ensure compliance and high customer service standards.
  • Lead on parking contract development and procurement, working closely with internal support services.
  • Oversee parking IT systems and manage all parking assets, including signage, lines, cameras, and pay-and-display machines.
  • Manage off-street car parks and support EV charging rollout aligned with sustainability objectives.
  • Produce annual service plans and reports, monitor performance, and drive continuous improvement.
  • Advise senior leaders on policy development, public consultations, and key projects.
  • Take responsibility for parking budgets, forecasting income and expenditure, and contributing to financial planning.
