ROLE: Service Manager
LOCATION: Hertfordshire
SALARY: 40k basic, 65k ote + benefits

Flame Recruitment – former YOLO Recruitment are currently recruiting a motivated Service Manager to join us at our clients used car dealership in Hertfordshire to manage the service operation.

As an important member of the management team you will be expected to run an efficient department, always ensuring customer satisfaction, motivating and training staff whilst improving processes and systems as well as driving the business forward.

As part of your role, you will be encouraged to embrace the manufacturer training programmes to develop both your brand knowledge and approach to management.

Duties of the Service Manager
  • Drive department performance against budget, identify any shortfall and implement plans to improve the performance
  • Maximise customer satisfaction by treating everyone as an individual and delivering an exceptional service experience in line with the Company’s ethos of Driving Excellence
  • Ensure the business maintains regular contact with all existing customers ensuring service levels are being met, issues are being resolved and further business opportunities identified
  • Provide guidance, training and appraisals to each of the Service team to encourage a forward-thinking attitude which will help them achieve their full potential
  • Encourage all staff to recognise additional business opportunities through the use of regular briefings and the implementation of appropriate systems and incentives
  • Recruit, select, train and develop staff as required
  • Ensure dealer standards are met and systems and procedures are complied with

Hours for the Service Manager role is not set in stone, Monday to Friday as and when the business requires.
