A well-established operations company in Ballymena is seeking a Service Manager to oversee a team of service drivers. Qualifications

• Experience in transport management / CPC preferred.
• Energetic manager with ability to lead teams.
• Valid, full driving licence for at least 12 months.
• Understanding of Health & Safety, preferably IOSH trained.
• Previous transport experience essential.

Service Manager - Depot Support, Ballymena

Salary up to £31,000 - £32,000 per annum

Full Time, Permanent - Monday-Friday

We have a great opportunity for a Service Manager to join the Operations Team at the Ballymena Operations Centre. You’ll be required to manage and support a large team of service drivers who provide vital waste disposal products and services to our customers' premises in the north and beyond.

The role

• Supporting the Centre Manager in managing productivity levels of the depot
• Resource planning and supporting the development of all members of our service team
• Ensuring all processes and procedures are followed and comply with all relevant legislation at both the centre and for the company vehicles
• Always ensure vehicles and equipment are checked and maintained to keep our colleagues and customers safe.

About you

• Minimum 2 years of management experience within the operations/transport logistics sector
• Transport management experience / CPC preferred but not essential
• An energetic and inspirational manager with proven ability to lead teams to meet our valued customers' expectations
• Hold a valid, full driving licence for at least 12 months (max 6 points) in accordance with the company transport policy.
• Understand Health & Safety in the workplace, preferably IOSH trained
• Resource and time management skills
• Previous transport experience essential
• I.T. skills.
