As an HVAC Maintenance Technician at Tesco, covering our Aberdeen and Dundee areas, you'll play a crucial role in keeping our environments comfortable, safe, & fully operational for both customers & colleagues. Your expertise in heating, ventilation, air conditioning, & refrigeration systems will ensure our stores remain energy‑efficient & compliant with safety standards.

You will be part of a skilled maintenance team, responsible for both planned preventative maintenance & reactive repairs across a wide range of HVAC systems & equipment. From diagnosing faults to carrying out repairs & optimising system performance, your work will help ensure a seamless shopping experience for thousands of customers every day.

This is a hands‑on, mobile role that requires strong technical knowledge, a proactive approach to problem‑solving, & a commitment to high standards of service & safety. Responsibilities
  • Ensuring all Tesco sites are a safe & functioning environment for customers & colleagues.
  • Following the planned work schedule to achieve first time fix, maximising productivity, & effectiveness.
  • Delivering high quality work standards across the estate, with year‑on‑year improvement.
  • Using problem‑solving skills & innovation to identify & develop solutions for key & common issues.
  • Own tasks at a local level through to completion/resolution, informing key stakeholders through the process, where required.
  • Using mobile devices; phone & tablet, to drive best practice in work completion & updates.
  • Use the business systems to drive best practice in work order reporting to support asset lifecycle management.
  • Supporting KPI delivery, through the practical application of skill sets, & effective use of business systems to drive achievement of your own set KPIs.
