• Work collaboratively with Tesco store teams to maintain equipment and facilities.
• Follow planned work schedules to achieve first-time fixes and improve efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Confidently Interact with External Contractors: Coordinating repairs seamlessly.
• Work Collaboratively with the Team: Be a great colleague who understands the importance of quality service.
• Sustain High Energy Levels: Juggling tasks while maintaining efficiency.
• Assist the Management Team: Keeping our stores operating smoothly by maintaining equipment and facilities.
• Minimize Customer Disruption: Coordinating repairs with minimal impact on our valued customers.
• Ensuring all Tesco sites are a safe and functioning environment for customers and colleagues.
• Following the planned work schedule to achieve first time fix, improving efficiency, and effectiveness.
• Working closely with team members, sharing best practice and knowledge.
• General day to day store and property maintenance.
• Using mobile devices; phone and tablet, to drive the best approach in work completion and updates.
• Representing the Tesco brand by demonstrating our core values (serving our customers, communities and planet a little better every day), maintaining a positive attitude & taking pride in wearing the Tesco uniform.
• Attending local and national meetings, providing valuable input and feedback.
• Supporting a diverse and inclusive culture.

To thrive in this role, you will need

• As a vital part of our Maintenance team, you will demonstrate enthusiasm for maintaining high standards.
• With previous experience in a maintenance, engineering, or construction environment, you will be digitally confident using a tablet to view daily work schedules and manage emails.
• Operational Skills: Completion of a recognised apprenticeship or improver programme or trade proficiency test / relevant trade experience.
• Basic diagnostics: PCB/Microprocessor / HMI controlled systems /equipment Electrical Safety Circuit, - Basic Working Knowledge, fault finding and replacement.
• EICR Remedial Knowledge.
• Full driving license.
• Health & Safety awareness.
• Communication & stakeholder management.
• Office 365 knowledge.

Required Qualifications

• City & Guilds Level 3 – Electrical (Or Equivalent) Apprenticeship/Improver programme.
• EICR Remedial works experience.

Preferable Qualifications

• City & Guilds Inspection & Testing ECoPs.
• City & Guilds 18th Edition.
• MEWP/IPAF Licence.
