Job summary

NTT DATA, Inc. is seeking a service engineer, specialist or architect to advance engineering capabilities behind managed infrastructure and cloud services in the UK.

The role links architecture, engineering and operations to ensure standardized, automated, measurable services ready for production. At L4, you will lead engineering workstreams on complex service-development initiatives; at L5, you define architecture, strategy and roadmaps for service engineering.

Qualifications

• Develop and maintain reusable service-engineering standards and patterns.
• Translate architecture and service requirements into deployable engineering solutions.
• Build automation for deployment, configuration, monitoring and operational support.
• Support the transition of new and changed services into production.
• Define technical monitoring, alerting, logging and support requirements.
• Ensure that services include appropriate resilience, security and recovery capabilities.
• Work with operations teams to eliminate recurring incidents and manual effort.
• Maintain technical documentation, service models and engineering artefacts.
• Support proof-of-concept, testing and validation activities.
• Contribute to continuous integration and delivery practices.
• Lead engineering workstreams and complex service-development initiatives at L4.
• Define service-engineering architecture, strategy and technical roadmaps at L5.
