Overview

Service Engineer – Up to £32,000 to £35,000, Midlands. Full time, Permanent. Monday to Friday plus overtime available.

Have you got your NVQ Level 2 in Electrical installation? Have you got experience in Service and maintenance in building services?

Attega Group is currently partnering exclusively with our client in recruiting a Service Engineer to join the team.

The main purpose of this role is to carry out planned preventative maintenance and repairs for all customers and provide an out of hours emergency service for contract customers.

In return, our client is offering a salary of up to £35,000 P/A negotiable upon experience, depending on experience, plus a company van and fuel card (Business use only), overtime and 25 days holiday plus bank holidays.

This is a full-time position. The hours of work will be days, evenings and some lates.

Reporting to the Regional Team Leader your responsibilities will include:

  • Repair, test and clean various types of ventilators, extract fans, smoke curtains, solar shading, smoke extract door type systems and car park smoke ventilation systems.
  • Inspect, repair and carry out functional and electrical testing on various control panels and battery backup units.
  • Respond to reasonable requests for emergency call out duties. The company operates 24 hours 7 days a week system so this may be at any time.
Qualifications
  • Electrical qualification (City & Guilds or NVQ Level 2) or associated industry competency.
  • Full UK Driving license.
  • Basic computer literacy, operating work sheet apps and filling out reports.
  • Good practical electrical background.
