Job summary

Ernest Gordon Recruitment Limited is recruiting for a Junior Field Service Engineer (Machine Tools) in the Midlands. The role includes hands-on service, customer training and promoting maintenance contracts, with a comprehensive package and extensive OEM training to develop you into a technical leader.

You will diagnose, service and support machine tools, while building expert knowledge of electrical, hydraulic and mechanical systems.

Qualifications

• Engineering qualification (HNC or degree) required.
• Field experience with machine tools is advantageous.
• Hands-on, mechanically competent with knowledge of electrical, hydraulic and mechanical drawings.

Responsibilities

• Train customers in operation, maintenance and safety
• Perform routine service of machines and related equipment
