TSM Technical seeks skilled Service Engineers to join a growing loading bay solutions team across Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire, the West corridor, and the SE M25. The role covers PPMs, repairs, and customer-facing service nationwide.

Ideal candidates hold electrical or mechanical qualifications, have industrial equipment servicing experience, and possess a full UK driving licence. The position offers a starting salary of £32,000 rising to £36,000 after probation, plus overtime and benefits.

Responsibilities

• Carry out PPM and reactive repairs to loading bay products.

• Provide repair recommendations during PPM visits and liaise with service teams.
• Deliver excellent customer service on-site, including training where required.
• Assist with new equipment installations when needed (nationwide).
• Complete accurate service records and adhere to company quality and safety standards.

Service Engineer – Loading Bay Equipment
Location: Multiple vacancies across Bedfordshire/Hertfordshire, the West corridor, and South-East M25
Salary: £32,000 starting (up to £36,000 after probation) + Overtime + Standby Allowance + Benefits
Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00–16:30 (plus overtime/call-out rota)

TSM Technical is working with a leading name in loading bay solutions who are expanding their service team due to continued growth and strong demand.

We currently have three exciting opportunities for Service Engineers to join their growing team in the following regions:

• Bedfordshire / Hertfordshire (south of Luton): Luton, Dunstable, St Albans, Watford, Hemel Hempstead
• West corridor: Slough, Reading, High Wycombe, Oxford, Swindon, Bristol
• South-East M25: Dartford, Croydon, Crawley, Bromley, Orpington, Sevenoaks

The Role

• Carry out PPM and reactive repairs to loading bay products.
• Diagnose and resolve electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic faults.
• Provide repair recommendations during PPM visits and liaise with service teams.

What We’re Looking For

• Recognised electrical or mechanical qualification (or relevant experience).
• Proven experience in servicing, maintenance, or repairs of industrial equipment.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Willingness to work at heights, in confined spaces, and away from home.
• Customer-focused, self-motivated, and able to work independently.

Desirable Skills

• 16th/17th/18th Edition
• Welding, hydraulic, or FLT/IPAF experience.
• Knowledge of loading bay systems
