Service Engineer - Industrial Equipment

£40,000 - (OTE £55,000)

Pin Point Recruitment is currently recruiting for a Regional Service Engineer on behalf of a leading manufacturer and service provider within the industrial equipment sector. This is a field-based role, requiring flexibility to travel and occasional call‑out cover. As a Service Engineer, you will carry out maintenance, servicing, and repair work on a range of industrial spraybooth and finishing equipment. This is a hands‑on position that requires good technical knowledge, practical ability, and a strong commitment to customer service.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Performing routine servicing, including filter changes and equipment inspections
  • Diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical faults
  • Carrying out gas and oil burner maintenance and testing
  • Providing breakdown support and emergency call‑out cover when required
  • Completing service documentation accurately and professionally
  • Liaising with customers and providing clear, friendly communication
What We're Looking For
  • Full UK Driving Licence (essential)
  • Gas Safe Registration – ideally with CoNGLP1 PD, COCN1, CIGA1, CDGA1 ACS accreditations
  • Electrical, mechanical, or engineering background
  • Experience working with gas/oil burners
  • Physically fit and comfortable working at heights
  • Strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to work independently
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
