Job summary

A leading service provider of packaging machinery in the UK is seeking a Service Engineer to install and maintain packaging machinery across pharmaceutical manufacturing sites. The role requires a multi-skilled field service engineer, preferably with experience in the pharmaceutical sector. You will need to travel extensively within the UK & Ireland and occasionally internationally. An excellent salary package with additional benefits is offered.

Ongoing Overtime and Annual Bonus to earn around £65,000

You will be home‑based and will mostly cover the UK & Ireland with occasional worldwide travel. You can live anywhere in the UK, but Midlands and North are ideal. Commute to London, Manchester, Birmingham, Leeds, Hull, Nottingham, Peterborough.

Person Specification

• You must be an experienced multi‑skilled field service engineer or factory maintenance engineer with a proven track record of servicing packaging machinery.
• Experience working in the pharmaceutical sector is an advantage but is not essential.
• You will be willing and able to travel extensively and stay away from home in the UK & Ireland, with occasional worldwide trips.
• You are a qualified Electrical and Mechanical Engineer, having completed a full apprenticeship.
• You are familiar with PLCs.
