Service Engineer (Cleaning Machinery)

£37,000 - £39,000 • Permanent • Mon-Fri 7:30-16:00 • Leeds (workshop + local field) • 33 days' holiday

Are you a Service Engineer from an Industrial Machinery / Materials handling background or similar looking for a stable, days-based work for a small family run business offering a great work / life balance and optional over-time?

Why this Field Service Engineer (Cleaning Machinery) role:

• Stable days (no shifts), local travel only
• Mix of bench work and field calls (roughly half/half)

Role - what you'll do:

• Service, maintain and repair floor-cleaning machinery (battery and mains)
• Fault-find on AC/DC, single/three-phase, hydraulics and control systems
• Handle c.20% work on pressure washers and high-pressure pumps
• Complete installs/commissioning and accurate service documentation
• Liaise with the office for parts, scheduling and customer updates

You'll need:

• Hands-on experience on related kit: cleaning machines, MHE, agriculture, plant or similar
• Confident with electrics/electronics, mechanical systems and hydraulics
• Customer-focused with clean, safe working practices
• Full UK driving licence and comfortable around the Leeds area
