- Carry out installation, maintenance, and repair of equipment and machinery at client sites within the designated region.

- Demonstrable and significant experience working in a comparable Service Engineer role.
- Strong demonstrable experience gained in an AV engineering type role such as wireless mic systems, basic mixers, zoned mixers, DSPs, amplifiers, public address systems, rack wiring, speakers (LowZ and 100v), TVs, HDMI solutions, projectors, interconnections, wiring, connector cable pin‑outs.
- Knowledge and understanding working in service and technology fields such as RF/TV/Sat systems, effect lighting, access control, data networks, and automation.
- Demonstrable appetite for continuous technical development to attain the breadth of skills of the Hutchi Service Engineer.
- A technical mind‑set to logically assess an issue to pinpoint the fault.
- Previous experience of using problem‑solving skills to find faults and provide high quality solutions.
- Self‑motivated with a commitment to the issue at hand.
- Able to read and understand AV system schematics and drawings.
- Able to terminate cables to industry standard.
- Understand PC based IP networks.
- ECS - Electrotechnical Certification Scheme or equivalent.
- Soldering proficiency, working with audio connectors and cables.
- Able to work under pressure to tight timescales.
- Flexible approach to working hours.
- Presentable in appearance when on site.
- Professional demeanour.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Strong technical learning ability.
- Be highly mobile & flexible as a remote engineering covering a wider geographical region.
