JOB DESCRIPTION

This is a hybrid role, split between working at our Petersfield site and a classic, multi‑skilled field‑based Service Engineer vacancy. The role is divided between scheduled installation and maintenance of equipment at sites across the UK and reactive service (often with a few days' notice and very occasional emergency breakdown response). During periods of training you will also visit principal sites across Europe.

PERSON SPECIFICATION

Ideally you will be a multi‑skilled and experienced Service or Maintenance Engineer with familiarity of working on production equipment from any sector. Any exposure to packaging, process, inkjet or automation equipment would be a bonus, but any PLC‑controlled machinery would be a good match. The wide variety of equipment you will work on would benefit from a broad range of experience and a good, general engineering understanding. An understanding of PLCs from an operational level is important – but you are not required to be able to program, debug, fault‑find etc.
