My Client is a specialist security integration company, providing cloud-based access control, CCTV, intercom, intruder alarm systems, gates, barriers and security doors for commercial clients. They work with leading technology partners to deliver innovative and tailored security solutions across London and the surrounding areas.

We are currently seeking three experienced Engineers to join the team:

Service and Maintenance Engineer

Gates and Barriers Engineer

My client is at the forefront of cloud security technology, deploying systems such as Brivo

Access, Eagle Eye CCTV, Abloy/Aperio and various other manufacturer brands. They also specialise in Orisec Intruder systems, alongside a diverse array of Access/Door Entry solutions including Brivo, Paxton, BPT, Urmet, and 2N.

They are looking for self-reliant engineers capable of:

Responding to service calls, performing maintenance, fault finding and excelling in a dynamic environment.

And/Or

Being responsible for handling all aspects of installation projects, from first fix and second fixing to wiring up and commissioning.

Key Responsibilities for each role will include some of the following:

  • Installation of Access Control, CCTV, Intruder, and Intercom systems
  • Carrying out first fix, second fix, wiring up, and commissioning
  • Performing call outs and some servicing duties
  • Traveling primarily within London, Oxford, and Cambridge
  • Participating in the weekend call out rota
  • Carrying out maintenance to a broad spectrum of security systems
  • Working on access control, CCTV, intruder alarms and intercoms
  • Working mainly around London but must be happy to travel further afield
  • Carrying out routine maintenance and repair of security items including gates, barriers, bollards etc
  • Servicing mechanical, electrical and electromechanical components
  • Diagnosing and troubleshooting equipment problems that arise

Requirements:

  • Experienced and very technically proficient
  • Full driving licence
  • Live in or around Northwest London
  • Available for on-call work at weekends
  • Very reliable and able to manage own workload
  • Good communication skills as you will be dealing with customers
  • Willingness to travel and stay overnight for project requirements

A typical working day spans 9 hours, with travel and overtime duly compensated. For those

seeking additional earnings, weekend work is available at overtime rates.
