A leading Compressed Air Manufacturer is seeking a Service Engineer to perform electrical and mechanical repairs and maintenance on compressed air equipment across North London and surrounding areas. The ideal candidate will have experience in field service engineering, strong diagnostic skills, and good knowledge of three-phase electrics. The role offers a competitive package of £35,000‑£40,000 (OTE £55K), a company van, and benefits including 25 days of holiday and pension contributions.

The Successful Service Engineer will provide electrical and mechanical repair, service and maintenance on compressed air equipment at customer sites across North London and home counties, and the surrounding areas.

The Service Engineer will ideally have a field Service background in electrical and / or mechanical engineering such as compressors, filtration, pneumatics, hydraulics, pipework, vacuum pumps, vacuum systems, blowers, dryers, valves, rotating equipment or similar compressed air related equipment.

Role: To provide electrical and mechanical repair, service and maintenance of compressed air equipment at customer sites.
The Compressor Service Engineer will undertake planned and preventative maintenance, provide advice, diagnostics and fault finding of compressed air systems, vacuum pumps, blowers & dryers, nitrogen generators and other compressed air products.
Maintain, repair and install air compressors, vacuum pumps, blowers & dryers, valves and other compressed air and pneumatic equipment across Nottingham and the surrounding areas.
Identifying and providing the customer with compressed air improvements, upgrades, or general aftercare of compressor products.
Perform emergency breakdown fault finding and repairs on various compressed air equipment.
Liaise with various engineering departments.
Proven diagnostic skills on complicated electrical / mechanical engineering systems.
Experience as a Field Service Engineer / Service Engineer / Service Technician / Installation Engineer / Compressor Engineer / Mechanical Engineer / M&E Engineer or similar.
The ability to maintain good professional working relationships with existing and new customers.
Good working knowledge of three-phase electrics and controls is advantageous.
Field servicing background in compressors, filtration, pneumatics, hydraulics, nitrogen generators, pipework, vacuum pumps, vacuum systems, blowers, dryers, pumps, motors, rotating equipment or capital equipment is advantageous.
Training provided.
A technical engineering degree or apprentice trained would be advantageous.
Homebased, willing to travel across North London and home counties.
