Service Engineer is a full time permanent position located in Kent. Working hours are 40 hours per week. Salary ranges from £30,000 to £35,000 depending on experience.

Portico GB Limited is a leading subcontractor in the new build industry based in Woolpit, near Bury St Edmunds. Due to continued expansion, we require a Customer Care Service Engineer in our window department.

The successful candidate must be willing to travel as our sites are across East Anglia and the Home Counties. This role suits an ex‑window fitter with experience fitting windows and doors into new build plots. A CSCS card and a full driving licence are essential.

Responsibilities:

  • You will be responsible for remedial/repair works on customers' windows and doors to be completed in an acceptable time frame and in line with our customer care charter.
  • You will be required to deal with the initial visit and uncover the problems that exist.
  • You will appoint your own diary in liaison with the office.
  • Collate and process client documents.
  • Deal with the office on parts needed.
  • Complete accurate reports of each visit.
  • Undertake other work to which you are capable and carry out any other duties which may be required when service workloads are quiet.
  • Valid full UK driving licence. (Please make us aware of any points pending)
