Able Care is a trusted local accessibility specialist and authorised distributor for Stannah Stairlifts. We help people live safely and independently at home.

We’re growing and looking for a Service Engineer to keep our customers’ stairlifts and ceiling track hoists running smoothly across the Highlands.

What you’ll do
  • Repair and maintain Stannah and other makes of stairlifts and ceiling track hoists
  • Learn our product range and support senior engineers and teammates
  • Fit, service and fault‑find to high standards of safety and quality
  • Take part in the out‑of‑hours call rota (typically 1 week in 5 – allowance paid)
  • Pitch in with reasonable additional tasks to keep customers moving safely
What you’ll bring
  • Engineering experience; mechanical/electrical trade background ideal
  • Knowledge of stairlifts/hoists desirable but not essential – full training provided
  • Friendly, professional manner with excellent communication skills
  • Customer‑focused, disability‑aware, punctual, and smart appearance
  • Full UK driving licence (essential)
