The Role

The role is for a Service Engineer to repair faults, service machinery and create preventative maintenance strategies for a market leading surface finishing company specialising in component manufacture and finishing for the aerospace and automotive industries.

• Fault-finding, diagnosis and rectification on manufacturing machinery – surface finishing equipment.
• Servicing equipment and machinery on an ongoing basis.
• Creating and updating TPM schedules.

The Candidate

The ideal candidate for the role will have the following attributes; Preferably you will have at least three years of experience in a similar role and must have previous experience in servicing and maintaining manufacturing / production machinery, ideally surface coating machinery (although other engineering machinery maintenance will be considered).

• Good mechanical and electrical maintenance knowledge.
• Fault-finding, diagnosis and rectification experience on manufacturing machinery.
• Must be able to strip down and rebuild machinery.
• Must have good working TPM knowledge in a similar environment.
