  • Perform any other tasks as assigned by the Senior Management Team.

Service Engineer

  • Salary: Up to £45,000

We are seeking a dedicated Service Engineer to join our client’s team. This role involves completing planned preventative maintenance visits and attending remedial call-outs as required. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring all service operations are executed efficiently and in compliance with client SLAs.

Our client is a London-based security firm that offers a range of security solutions for a wide variety of clients, including major hospitals, academic institutions and corporations. Services offered include the design, supply, installation and maintenance of physical security systems.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Complete planned preventative maintenance visits, documenting and recording all assets tested.
  • Record the outcomes on the correct maintenance paperwork and carry out SSA and firmware updates as needed on a site-by-site basis.
  • Ensure jobs are completed on the Job Management system in real-time.
  • Return all service documentation to the office upon completion of PPMs for processing.
  • Maintain van stock at the required level and add to job sheets as used.
  • Attend service call-outs in a timely manner and according to client SLAs.
  • Participate in the out-of-hours call-out rota.
  • Carry out service remedial small works installations as required.
  • Perform any other tasks as may be assigned by the Senior Management Team.
Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
