Service Engineer - External Site Teams

Location: Nationwide (site-based)

Job Type: Full Time

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Service Engineer to join one of the UK's leading providers in the supply, design, manufacture, installation, and servicing of pumping equipment.

This is a hands‑on, field‑based role ideal for someone who is mechanically skilled, motivated, and eager to be part of a dynamic external team. As a Service Engineer you'll work closely with an Electrical Site Engineer to carry out installation, commissioning, servicing, and maintenance of pumping and related systems across the UK.

Key Responsibilities
  • Attend installations and breakdowns nationwide, ensuring company policies and standards are upheld
  • Service, repair, and assemble pumps and associated mechanical equipment
  • Participate in a standby rota, including weekends and bank holidays as required
  • Maintain high standards of procedure and actively suggest improvements
  • Complete detailed site visit reports, obtain customer sign‑off, and submit promptly
  • Represent the business professionally on all customer sites, promoting services where appropriate
  • Ensure your vehicle is fully stocked and maintained with necessary tools and parts
  • Flag any personal training and development needs

  • Mechanical qualification

Desirable
  • Confined space training
  • First Aid certification
  • CSCS card
  • SSSTS certification

Additional Information
  • This is a site‑based role requiring frequent travel across the UK
  • Weekend and bank holiday availability is required on a rota basis
  • All work must be conducted in line with Health & Safety regulations and company procedures
