A global market leader in robotic packaging machinery seeks a Field Service Engineer to provide service for their equipment used in the food and pharmaceutical industries. The role requires hands-on electrical and mechanical engineering skills, as well as experience with robotics systems. Up to £50,000 basic salary plus around £10,000 in overtime, with a hybrid work model covering the UK. Potential for long-term career growth.

Qualifications

• You will be an experienced Field Service Engineer with hands-on knowledge of packaging machinery used in the food and/or pharmaceutical markets.
• Any specific experience of robotic systems would be advantageous.
• You MUST be a qualified Electrical/Electronic Engineer with hands-on mechanical engineering experience.

Responsibilities

• Undertake a mixture of repairs, upgrades, and installations of packaging machinery.
• Spend approximately 6 nights per month staying away from home.
• Cover 1 weekend in 4.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Service Engineer, Field Service Engineer, Electronic Engineer – packaging machinery, robotic systems – food, pharmaceutical

This is a classic Field Service Engineer role, where you will be spending 6 nights per month staying away from home on average, and covering 1 weekend in 4.

The work that you are expected to undertake is a mixture of repairs, upgrades and installations.

PERSON SPECIFICATION

• You will be an experienced Field Service Engineer with hands on knowledge of packaging machinery used in the food and / or pharmaceutical markets.
• Any specific experience of robotics systems would be advantageous.
• You MUST be a qualified Electrical / Electronic Engineer with hands on mechanical engineering experience and ideally specific experience working with siemens PLC`s.
