Job summary

Ascend Consulting is assisting a leading Medical Devices company in Kent to recruit a Service Engineer. You will maintain and diagnose decontamination equipment across electrical, mechanical, plumbing, steam and pneumatic systems, ensuring high standards and regulatory compliance.

The role requires a National Certificate or Diploma in engineering or technology and extensive knowledge of decontamination processes and equipment.

Qualifications

• National Certificate or National Diploma in engineering or technology is required.
• Building services engineering knowledge is essential.
• Knowledge of porous load sterilizers, bench top sterilizers, washer disinfectors, endoscopes.
• Ability to fault find and solve problems.
• Excellent communication and IT skills are expected.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and diagnose decontamination plant and equipment (electrical, mechanical, plumbing, steam and pneumatic).
• Work to high standards in an ISO9001/13485/14001 environment.
• Communicate effectively with internal staff and key contacts at contracts.

Service Engineer, Medical Devices, Decontamination, Kent to £48,000

A leading Medical Devices company have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Service Engineer to join their. Engineering Department. The role is based in Kent, and you will be responsible to undertake maintenance and diagnostic repair, to electrical/electronic, mechanical, plumbing, steam and pneumatic decontamination plant and equipment.

ABOUT YOU

• A National Certificate or National Diploma in engineering or technology accredited, registered electrical/fitting/plumbing apprenticeship


• Comprehensive knowledge of building services engineering


• Comprehensive knowledge of porous load sterilizers, bench top sterilizers, washer disinfectors, flexible endoscopes
