Responsibilities
  • Are you a thoughtful, intuitive designer who brings care, clarity, and calm to complex service challenges? We're looking for a Service Designer with strong NHS experience to help shape kinder, more seamless journeys for patients and frontline teams.
  • In this role, you\'ll gently untangle service issues, understand needs in depth, and bring people together to reimagine how care could flow in a more supportive and human way.
  • What you\'ll be doing
  • Exploring current services to uncover pain points, unmet needs, and the root causes of service failures.
  • Facilitating collaborative, creative workshops with clinical teams, operational staff, and service users.
  • Designing future-state journeys, concepts, and system improvements informed by research and lived experience.
  • Developing prototypes—service rehearsals, walkthroughs, and low-fidelity wireframes—to bring ideas to life.
  • Producing clear, elegant service blueprints, frameworks, and guidance to support delivery into live environments.
