It has an adviser and customer offering spanning financial advice, investment platforms, multi-asset investment solutions and discretionary fund management.

If you want to play a part in shaping the future of our business, bringing new ideas and challenge then now is a great time to join us.

About the Role

Level: 2 Location: Chester, Carlisle, Birmingham, Leeds Department: Service Delivery & Development Review Team Contract: Permanent

As a Service Delivery team member, you will be playing a critical role in producing high quality review reports to support our Financial Planners and their clients.

Our Financial Planners provide detailed financial planning to all our clients, so an understanding of the different types of investments, pensions and protection plans is desirable but not essential.

We will provide full training and development, so you will build an understanding of these areas.

Your role will involve gathering plan information from providers and updating our back-office Client Relationship Management system (Xplan) and using this information to produce detailed review reports.

You will use a variety of online resources and platform providers as well as a range of other research tools to perform your day-to-day activities which will include:

  • Planning your weekly allocated review report tasks

  • Gathering plan information from a range of product providers, online, over the phone or in writing

  • Developing high quality reports using a range of tools and research technology

  • Checking the accuracy of your work

  • Handing off your completed work to Financial Planners

  • Managing any queries from wider support teams on reviews due or in progress

You will work very closely with all our Financial Planners, regional support teams and the wider Service Delivery team.

Once you have been fully trained you will have the opportunity to support and learn more about the advice process with supporting the wider Service Delivery team.

You may be asked to contribute to wider team initiatives and projects from time to time.

You will be required to ensure all work is completed within the required timescales to meet both internal service levels and Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) guidelines and procedures.

You will also be expected to develop knowledge around Quilter’s risk landscape, how that impacts your team and the work that you perform.

Consumer Duty: Whilst this isn’t a directly customer facing role, the duties you will perform will contribute to the overall positive outcomes for our customers by producing high quality review documentation for Financial Planners to take to client meetings.

About You

High levels of attention to detail and accuracy, supported by strong written, numerical and analytical skills.

Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel for document creation, data handling, reporting and information management (preferred).

Comfortable using CRM and other technology systems, with XPlan experience preferred but not essential.

Experience producing accurate, detailed reports or documentation and managing information to a high standard.

Able to handle sensitive information accurately and professionally, maintaining quality and compliance standards.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with confidence communicating professionally with providers, advisers and colleagues by phone and email.

Able to work at pace, manage changing priorities and confidently use a variety of systems and technology platforms.

Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to learn quickly and apply knowledge gained through training and experience.

Experience or knowledge of working with financial product providers and/or advisers (preferred).

Financial Services industry knowledge or experience, including an understanding of investments, pensions and/or protection products (preferred).
