Job summary

A leading software development company based in Manchester is seeking an experienced Account Executive. This role involves managing high-value accounts and working closely with external stakeholders. You'll be responsible for uncovering growth opportunities and troubleshooting within projects. Ideal candidates will have over 3 years of experience in tech/SaaS account management. This position offers a competitive salary of up to £47K plus commissions and benefits, and genuine career progression opportunities.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years experience in tech/SaaS/account management.
  • Ability to work with external and internal stakeholders.
  • Experience at C-level is required.

Responsibilities

  • Manage 6 to 10 high-value accounts worth circa £8 million per annum.
  • Work with external stakeholders, typically CTOs and Heads of Development.
  • Uncover growth opportunities in the existing account base.

Account Executive

Manchester City Centre (2 days per week)

Up to £47K basic + comms + benefits

RPS are currently working in conjunction with a global software development company who, following a period of growth, are looking for an experienced Account Executive to manage a handful (6-10), high value clients.

With a client base including Virgin, Shell and Experian they deliver bespoke software development services and IT transformation projects to some of the largest companies in the UK and Europe.

Responsibilities
  • Managing 6 to 10 high value accounts (circa £8 million in rev per annum)
  • Working with external stakeholders – typically CTO’s and Heads of Dev
  • Working with internal delivery / development teams
  • Uncovering growth opportunities in existing account base
  • Troubleshooting within existing projects
Qualifications
  • 3 + years experience in tech / SaaS / services account management or a project management background within software / SaaS industry
  • The ability to work with both external and internal stakeholders
  • Strong influencing skills
  • Experience of working at C-level
  • An understanding of the SDLC
  • Able to travel to Europe 3-4 times per year for a few days at a time
  • Commutable to Manchester city centre 2 days per week
