A leading material handling company in England is looking for a Service Controller. The ideal candidate will excel in customer communication and have exceptional organizational skills, supporting field engineers in delivering top-notch service. Familiarity with IT systems, especially Excel and SAP, is a plus. This position requires a proactive, team-oriented individual skilled in handling customer inquiries under pressure. It offers a chance to contribute significantly to improving service delivery standards.
Successful applicants will be familiar with customer call handling and logging, organizing and planning engineer dispatch supported by effective and clear communication. The successful applicant will be expected to establish and maintain excellent customer contact and call handling standards, and support and communicate with their engineering team, thus ensuring customers, both internal and external, receive an outstanding level of service.
With daily customer contact for breakdown management and control of a team of field-based service engineers, the service controller plays an important part in Linde providing a first‑class level of on‑site service and will have a pivotal role in the continual improvement of our customer service delivery.
