Job summary

A leading recruitment agency is seeking a technical sales specialist to drive the sales of analytical service contracts. You will utilize your consultative skills to guide clients in various industries, ensuring outstanding customer service. Ideal candidates will have a degree in relevant scientific fields and prior sales experience. Job description

Within a rapidly changing, highly competitive sector, our client provides service / support excellence - ensuring analytical instrumentation is installed, calibrated and maintained to the highest industry standards.

Our client is seeking a technical sales specialist to drive the sales of their extensive instrument service contracts across an array of laboratories / industries inc. (bio)pharmaceutical, food / bev, research, academia, CRO’s, CDMO’s and instruments (e.g. HPLC, GC, LC-MS, GC-MS, Mass Spectrometry, ICP)

Using your consultative skills, you will guide and professionally advise your clients on the correct solutions for their requirements, as well as providing point of care services that allow research to continue to the highest industry standards.

To succeed in this position your personality, tenacious character and problem‑solving abilities will be called upon regularly, as well as your passion to provide world‑class customer service.

Qualifications
  • Prior Scientific Sales experience (Service contracts preferred, but experience with selling CAPEX, consumables would be beneficial)
  • A degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry or Pharmaceutical Sciences (or similar)
  • UK Drivers License
  • Right to work in the UK
  • The ability to travel to the head office in Milton Keynes

The role requires you to work from home, with a requirement to be office‑based up to 50% of your time and 25% of your time visiting clients. For your services, the package provided includes :
