A leading global infrastructure firm in the UK is seeking an experienced engineer to commission liquid cooling systems. The role involves testing and troubleshooting advanced thermal systems for AI data centres, with responsibilities including managing chilled water circuits and working closely with BMS teams. The ideal candidate will have a strong AC/HVAC background and excellent documentation skills. Competitive salary with generous benefits including healthcare, pension, and ample holidays, along with long-term growth opportunities.
AI workloads are booming, and next-gen data centres aren’t cooling themselves. This is your chance to get hands‑on with the most advanced thermal systems in Europe - specialising in liquid‑to‑chip and liquid‑to‑liquid cooling tech that’s quietly doing the heavy lifting behind tomorrow’s infrastructure.
You’ll be on the front line of commissioning liquid‑to‑chip and liquid‑to‑liquid cooling systems for hyperscale and AI data centres - testing, troubleshooting, and fine‑tuning everything from CDUs to chilled loops. Some days you'll be elbows‑deep in flow rates and firmware, others you’ll be working with BMS teams to iron out control quirks or updating test documentation. There’s a service angle too - providing planned support, upgrades and the occasional firmware refresh. It’s a hands‑on, problem‑solving role with plenty of variety and the occasional European trip when things need your touch on site.
With over 80,000 employees worldwide, this business is a true global force in infrastructure - spanning data centres, telecoms, EV charging, energy storage, automation, and more. They’re leading the way in AI cooling, rolling out cold plates, CDUs and immersion systems in some of the most demanding environments in Europe. But it doesn’t stop there. This isn’t just a technical role - it’s a launchpad. Engineers here have stepped into sales, management, product, and operational leadership. If you want long‑term opportunity, you’ll find it here.
