Murray Recruitment are recruiting for an Operations Support Lead for our client based in Lanarkshire. This newly created role has arisen due to continued growth within the business and is ideal for a highly experienced individual looking to bring structure, efficiency, and high standards to a busy service department. This is a hands‑on, varied role that supports both operational delivery and senior leadership within the business.

Role Overview

The Operations Support Lead will work closely with the Service Manager and Director to enhance service delivery through structured planning, efficient administration, and proactive support. From overseeing invoicing and coordinating service activities to supporting the implementation of new systems and providing PA support to the Director, this role is central to the smooth running of operations and future development of the team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinating and planning PPM and Reactive works in line with contract KPIs
  • Logging breakdowns and scheduling works to meet SLAs
  • Processing and closing off completed job sheets
  • Managing and ensuring timely completion of all invoicing
  • Assisting with the preparation of quotations alongside the Service Manager
  • Maintaining and updating the job management system
  • Supporting the implementation of a new operational system
  • Providing PA support to the Director as required
  • Delivering contract administration support across various areas of the business
  • Ensuring all administrative procedures are followed and continuously improved
Skills & Experience
  • Proven experience in a service support, operations, or contract administration role
  • Strong organisational skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Excellent time management and ability to prioritise a varied workload
  • Confident communicator with a proactive, solutions-focused mindset
  • Experience in system/process improvement and implementation is advantageous
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Experience using Xero is advantageous
  • Previous experience within a fast-paced service-based environment preferred
