  • Experience managing service charge timetables, estimates, and statements.
  • Confidence working with financial data and reviewing detailed information.
  • Experience in the housing association sector is desirable.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to work to statutory deadlines.
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Advanced Excel skills.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the full service charge process and act as the main point of contact for all service charge matters.
  • Lead on annual service charge budgeting and review monthly actuals throughout the year.
  • Produce accurate estimates and year end statements, ensuring income streams are correctly reported.
  • Oversee service charge reconciliations and manage sinking funds.
  • Handle stage one customer complaints and provide a responsive and supportive service.
  • Review and process service charge data, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Support internal and external audit activity and contribute to process improvements.
  • Work closely with colleagues to resolve queries and provide clear financial advice.
  • Provide day to day oversight of service charge activities.
