An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Bassetlaw in this varied and interesting role within the Facilities Department. Enhancements for Bank Holiday and Weekend work are offered as a part of this role.

Post 1: Facilities Service Assistant (Relief Worker) – 25 Hours Per Week, 5 days over 7, Working between the hours of 06.00 – 22.00. Includes Weekend & Bank Holidays. X 2 Positions Available
Post 2: Facilities Service Assistant (Relief Worker) – 20 Hours Per Week, 5 days over 7, Working between the hours of 06.00 – 22.00. Includes Weekend & Bank Holidays. X 1 Position Available

Main duties of the job

General Duties – Service Assistants undertake all appropriate cleaning duties within the hospital maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness in the hospital.

This is a physically demanding role with elements of carrying, lifting & moving items. Therefore, the person undertaking this role will need to be relatively physically fit.

Previous experience is desirable but not essential, as full training will be given.
