Service and Warranty Manager

A Service and Warranty Manager is required to join a leading manufacturing company based in Redditch, Worcestershire. This permanent role offers a competitive salary and the opportunity to lead service operations and warranty management within a dynamic technical environment.

Responsibilities
  • Leading the service and warranty team to ensure efficient handling of product returns and warranty claims
  • Overseeing mechanical and electrical repairs, refurbishments, and fault diagnosis
  • Managing product bookings and tracking using SAP processes
  • Collaborating with Quality and Engineering teams to investigate recurring issues and implement corrective actions
  • Maintaining accurate records of service activities and warranty claims
  • Providing technical support to customers via email, phone, and on‑site visits
  • Monitoring spare parts inventory and coordinating with procurement for replenishment
  • Developing and maintaining warranty policies and procedures
  • Preparing reports and analysis on service trends and warranty performance
Qualifications
  • Ideally 5+ years' experience in technical service or warranty management, preferably within manufacturing or engineering
  • Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems
  • Proficiency in SAP, Microsoft Word, and Excel
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
  • Strong problem‑solving and organisational abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure
What's on offer?
  • Monday to Friday working hours: 7:30am - 4:30pm (early finish at 1:30pm on Fridays)
  • Salary of £35-40k dependant on experience
  • 33 days annual leave (including bank holidays)
