Location: Leeds (Onsite)
Salary: £50,000 per annum
Hours: Monday to Friday, 06:30 AM - 2:30 PM (37 hours/week)
Contract Type: Permanent, Full-Time

We're looking for a Service & Technical Advising Specialist to join our expert team in Leeds, supporting the performance and reliability of our Powerhaul diesel-electric locomotives. Ideal for Technicians looking to step into an advising role where training is provided.

What You'll Be Doing:
  • Provide hands‑on technical support and guidance during locomotive maintenance activities.
  • Work closely with customer production teams, offering expert advice on troubleshooting, tooling, and locomotive status.
  • Analyse performance data to help improve reliability and uptime.
  • Travel within the UK as needed to support operational requirements.
What We're Looking For:
  • A Level 3 qualification in an engineering discipline (preferably electrical).
  • Strong electrical and/or mechanical aptitude.
  • Experience with large diesel engines and diagnostic tools (e.g. multimeter, megger).
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics.
  • A background in rolling stock or locomotive maintenance is highly desirable.
  • A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel when required.
