Overview

Due to increasing demand for both our custom automation and robotic laboratory products, we are seeking proactive and technically skilled Service and Support Engineers to ensure the reliability, efficiency and performance of our laboratory automation systems. You will play a critical role in maintaining and optimising Labman systems around the world.

What You’ll Do
  • Install, maintain and repair laboratory automation systems.
  • Provide remote and on‑site technical support and training to customers, operators and internal teams.
  • Conduct performance testing and ensure all systems meet Labman’s quality standards.
  • Build strong relationships with customers by providing excellent service and timely solutions.
  • Accurately document all service activities, maintenance schedules and customer interactions.
  • Regularly take part in new project builds and acceptance testing.
  • Relevant transferrable skills may have been gained from the following industries or roles: Building Management Systems, Control Engineer, HVAC Engineer, On‑site Maintenance Engineer, Vehicle Engineer, Agricultural / HGV mechanic etc.
  • Proven experience in problem solving & fault‑finding skills including decision making, clear communication, research & analysis skills.
  • Strong electromechanical knowledge.
  • Ability to work with hand tools in a quick, accurate manner.
  • Enthusiasm and willingness to get stuck in.
  • Willingness to travel within the UK and worldwide (your main place of work will be at Labman HQ, Stokesley).
  • Ability to work independently, take initiative and prioritise work.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
