Job summary

An automotive recruitment agency is seeking a full-time Service Advisor to join their team in Brighton. The role entails liaising with customers, logging service details, and ensuring excellent customer service. Ideal candidates are enthusiastic communicators who can thrive in team settings. Though experience in the motor industry is a plus, it's not essential. A structured training program is provided to help develop necessary skills for this position.

Responsibilities

  • Liaise with customers regarding outstanding work and follow up on Service Plans.
  • Log appointments, reservations, and MOT's in the Database.
  • Capture customer email addresses to grow the database.
  • Deliver excellent customer service and obtain payments.
  • Maintain communication with customers during service.
  • Complete job cards with accurate information.
  • Liaise with Sales Department to promote vehicle sales.
  • Manage courtesy car bookings.
  • Handle complaints quickly and effectively.

Job description

Our client is looking to recruit a full-time Service advisor to join our team at our showroom in Brighton.

The role is ideally suited to someone who is highly enthusiastic, well organised, enjoys learning new technology and has the desire to deliver an amazing customer experience.

A full training programme, supplied by the group, leading to accredited status is provided alongside being part of our day-to-day sales team.

What you'll do each day
  • Liaise with customers regarding outstanding work and follow up on Service Plans.
  • Log all appointments, reservations, and MOT's are added to the Database.
  • Capture customer email addresses and assist in increasing the customer database.
  • Deliver excellent customer service and obtain payments for service work and repairs.
  • Maintain communication with the customer whilst their vehicle is at the branch.
  • Complete job cards with accurate information.
  • Liaise with the Sales Department to promote the sale of new/used vehicles.
  • Book out and control 'courtesy cars'.
  • Deal with complaints quickly and effectively.

  • Can communicate information clearly and concisely.
It would be great if you also:
  • Have previous experience in the Motor Industry or similar retail business.
  • Knowledge of servicing department procedures.
