Location: Exeter

Salary: Competitive / DOE (OTE available)

Hours: Full-time, Monday-Friday with alternate Saturdays

Overview

We are seeking a customer-focused Service Advisor to join our busy aftersales department. You will act as the key point of contact between customers and the workshop, ensuring a smooth and professional service experience from booking through to vehicle collection.

Key Responsibilities
  • Welcome customers and manage service and repair bookings
  • Provide clear explanations of work required, costs, and timescales
  • Liaise closely with workshop technicians to ensure jobs run efficiently
  • Upsell service plans, additional repairs, and products where appropriate
  • Keep customers informed of progress and any additional work required
  • Ensure job cards, invoices, and documentation are accurate and complete
  • Handle customer queries and resolve issues professionally
  • Deliver exceptional customer service in line with manufacturer standards
About You
  • Previous experience as a Service Advisor (automotive experience preferred)
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Confident, organised, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Good IT skills and experience using dealer management systems
  • Able to upsell in a consultative, customer-first manner
  • Full UK driving licence
