Service Administrator - Criminal Justice Ref:0085ZD

Join us as a Service Administrator in Stoke-on-Trent. Our team in Stoke-on-Trent are seeking an experienced Administrator to provide a comprehensive and efficient administrative service. Do you thrive in a busy environment, juggling a wide range of different administration tasks and meeting lots of different people? If so, this could be the role for you.

Characteristics of the Role

This role is permanently full‑time (37.5 hours per week, Monday‑Friday, with some evening and Saturday work as required) and based within our Criminal Justice team. The salary is £25,000 per annum.

Responsibilities
  • Support our busy community drug and alcohol service and the Criminal Justice team to ensure smooth and effective delivery of services.
  • Work closely with key partners (prisons, custody suites, probation services) to support information sharing and maintain accurate data records.
  • Manage trackers that monitor client journeys as they engage with community support.
  • Handle calls via our dedicated Criminal Justice phone line, including those referred directly from court settings.
  • Assist with the printing and coordination of prescriptions for clients seen within the Criminal Justice pathway.
  • Provide wider administrative support, such as front‑of‑house duties, meeting and greeting, and assistance with the main service phone line.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Excellent attention to detail, strong IT skills (including database management and digital media).
  • Experience providing great administrative support in a busy environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and the ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of people.
  • Highly organised, able to manage and prioritise your time, and able to deal with changing and conflicting demands with ease.
  • Good analytical skills with an eye for detail.
  • A good level of Maths and English (verbal and written).
  • Confidence working in a team environment and working collaboratively.
  • Understanding of work‑based Health & Safety issues.
  • Some flexibility with working hours and location from time to time.
  • Experience working in a charitable organisation or knowledge of our client group would be an advantage but is not essential.
