About the role

We're looking for a passionate SEO Specialist to play a key role in shaping the future of Boots.com. In this role, you'll support the planning and execution of our SEO roadmap, helping us achieve ambitious sales and brand awareness goals. Your expertise will drive high‑quality traffic, boost profitable sales, and attract new customers. Make a real impact on our digital growth journey.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leverage SEO tools and analytics platforms (e.g., Google Search Console, SEMrush, Pidatametrics, Similarweb) to track search trends and monitor organic performance.
  • Conduct keyword research and provide actionable insights to guide on‑site optimisations and overall SEO strategy aligned with KPIs.
  • Ensure Boots.com is optimised for emerging AI‑driven search experiences and Large Language Model (LLM) visibility.
  • Perform regular SEO audits and analysis to inform e‑commerce and merchandising teams for continuous improvement.
  • Monitor and maintain technical SEO site health using tools such as Lumar and Screaming Frog.
  • Deliver best‑practice training sessions to wider e‑commerce teams to embed SEO principles.
  • Prepare and present clear, actionable reports on organic performance metrics and KPIs.
  • Support new product development (NPD) and seasonal launches to ensure optimal SEO implementation.
  • Collaborate with and provide guidance to the SEO Assistant to achieve team objectives.
  • Act as the SEO point of contact across key stakeholder groups (Trading, Digital Experience, Merchandising, Product, and IT), ensuring SEO is embedded in decision‑making, project planning, and execution.
About you
  • You have proven experience in an SEO role, with a solid understanding of both on‑page and technical SEO best practices.
  • You're highly analytical, confident in using data and insights to shape strategy, improve performance, and deliver impactful SEO plans.
  • You excel at stakeholder management, comfortable presenting and sharing insight.
  • You thrive in a fast‑paced environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously without compromising quality.
  • Attention to detail is second nature to you, and accuracy is something you never compromise on.
  • You bring hands‑on experience with website CMS platforms (e.g., AEM) and are eager to apply this knowledge to drive results.
