A prominent D2C brand in Greater Manchester is seeking an SEO Manager to lead the planning and implementation of SEO strategies. The ideal candidate will have strong technical SEO skills and experience in content management, delivering substantial improvements in search visibility and performance metrics. This hybrid role offers a salary between £35,000 and £40,000, plus additional benefits.

Key responsibilities for this role include :
Support the planning and implementation of SEO strategies across multiple products, aligned with overall business objectives.
Identify growth opportunities through organic search and develop actionable plans to improve visibility, traffic, and conversions.
Support the strategy and delivery of CMS website migrations from both technical and content perspectives.
Take ownership of planning and delivering the technical SEO strategy and roadmap, with support from the SEO Manager and future agency support.
Report on technical performance across all websites and provide recommendations and solutions to technical website challenges.
Conduct regular technical audits to ensure website health, crawlability, and indexability.
Collaborate with developers to implement SEO best practices across site architecture, page speed, mobile usability, and structured data.
Support the SEO Manager with planning and managing the ongoing content schedule, including keyword research, topic ideation, and seasonal content planning.
Conduct gap analyses and content audits on key product areas to identify new and existing SEO opportunities.
Write engaging, SEO-led content for product pages and blogs that align with overall SEO strategy and business objectives.
Ensure all content produced and uploaded is fully optimised from both content and technical perspectives.
Work with freelance copywriters, providing briefs and managing the relationship.
Review, edit, and proofread work from freelancers and junior team members from both an SEO and editorial standpoint.
Manage CMS-related SEO tasks such as publishing and editing content across multiple websites, maintaining in-house style standards, and creating redirects and sitemaps.
Support the production of monthly newsletters for customers and prospects as required.
Monitor and analyse SEO performance using reporting tools, providing regular updates on the technical health of the websites.
Actively monitor overall SEO performance with actionable insights and recommendations.
Track competitor SEO performance and industry trends to identify opportunities and challenges.
Produce monthly SEO reports using data from tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and SEMrush.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of search engine algorithms, ranking factors, and industry trends, and share insights with the SEO and wider marketing teams.
