Sensory Panel Assistant

Description

Are you interested in working in sensory research with one of the world's top FMCG companies? Then join MMR as a Sensory Panel Assistant!

This is an exciting role where the Sensory Panel Assistant will have prime responsibility for supporting the management of one of MMR’s client dedicated panels.

Location: Greater London Hours: 08:30am-17:00pm

Key Responsibilities
  • 👥 Assist the Sensory Panel Manager in all aspects of the running of the two Sensory Panels.
  • 🌡 Prepare samples and materials for panel training and profiling.
  • 📦 Research, source and manage products.
  • 👨💻 Prepare panel profiling sessions using data acquisition software (on the job training will be provided).
  • 🚿 Ensure the Sensory Panel working area is prepared appropriately for each session and cleared/cleaned after.
  • 📋 Ensure that all activities carried out comply with basic food hygiene and health and safety standards.
  • 💻 Assist in administrative duties (e.g. timesheets, scheduling, project and product logs in the lab notebook, updating the panel with logistic information, database).
  • 🤝 Assist the Sensory Manager with other tasks as required and always promote a pleasant working environment for all!
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
  • Ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
  • Demonstrate self-management and flexibility, coping with changing priorities.
  • Strong attention to detail when carrying out sample procurement, preparation and storage, document preparation and data collection.
  • Proactive and hands on, demonstrating initiative and working well with others.
  • Competent using Microsoft Office.
  • Lab/food service experience is desirable.
