Job summary

Carrington West is recruiting a Senior/Principal Infrastructure Planner to join an award-winning, employee-owned consultancy with opportunities across Oxford, Bristol, London or Exeter. You’ll influence planning and consenting of major infrastructure projects, working with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders to deliver outcomes that matter.

Ideal candidates will have strong UK planning system knowledge, excellent communication, and, for Principal level, leadership and business development

Qualifications

• Experience delivering, planning and consenting major infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of the UK planning system and infrastructure consenting processes.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement and project management skills.
• Ability to build trusted client relationships and collaborate across multidisciplinary teams.
• Professional accreditation such as MRTPI.

The Opportunity

You’ll play a key role in the planning and consenting of major infrastructure projects, helping clients navigate complex planning processes and deliver projects that make a lasting difference.
Working alongside multidisciplinary teams and a range of stakeholders, you’ll provide strategic planning advice, support project delivery and help shape successful outcomes for high-profile infrastructure schemes.
Depending on your experience, you’ll also have the opportunity to lead projects, develop client relationships, contribute to business growth and mentor colleagues.

About You

We’re keen to hear from experienced planning professionals with a strong understanding of infrastructure planning and consenting, who are looking to take the next step in their career.
You’ll ideally bring:
