Job summary

Youth role with Young Harrow Foundation in Greater London requires a Senior Youth Worker with extensive face-to-face delivery experience with children and young people. The role focuses on managing staff and volunteers, delivering engaging sessions for both Junior (9–13) and Senior (14–19) clubs, and ensuring safety, planning, and evaluation.

Hours are 2:00pm–9:00pm on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, with a 30-minute paid meal break.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of face-to-face delivery with children and young people.
• Proven experience in managing staff and supporting volunteers.
• Part-time availability: 2 days per week (Tuesdays and Wednesdays).

Responsibilities

• Session Delivery: Planning, supervising, and leading youth club sessions.
• Project Planning: Creating structured session plans for daily activities, termly projects, and workshops.
• Health & Safety: Writing risk assessments for onsite activities, trips, and community events.
• Staff Development: Mentoring and upskilling part-time youth and play workers and volunteers.
• Reporting & Evaluation: Writing quarterly reports with outcomes and impact evidence.
• Youth Club Culture: Maintaining a positive, safe, inclusive environment.
