Job summary

A&O Shearman is seeking a Senior Working Capital Assistant to join the Belfast Finance team. You will ensure timely processing of financial transactions across collections, reporting and cash allocations, supporting Revenue activity and cash collection while maintaining best practices and timely reporting.

The role involves contributing to continuous improvements, participating in ad hoc projects, and supporting month-end close.

Qualifications

Ability to multitask to meet targets and deadlines.
Excellent attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
Previous experience in an administrative/office role is essential.
Previous experience in a finance role is desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

Ensure timely and accurate processing of financial transactions across collections, reporting and cash allocations.
Support the Working Capital Specialist and Team Lead in delivering Revenue activity and timely cash collection; ensure best-practice tasks and reporting.
Assist in identifying and implementing continuous improvements; participate in ad hoc projects as required.
Support month-end close, including month-end overtime as needed.
