Job summary

Peregrine Livefoods Ltd. is seeking a WordPress / WooCommerce Web Developer to own day-to-day development and maintenance of multiple websites and internal tools.

You will collaborate with ERP specialists to enhance e-commerce functionality, integrate with ERP and third-party systems, and optimise performance across projects. The role combines hands-on development with systems integration, data management, analytics tracking and front-end optimisation.

Qualifications

• Strong experience developing with WordPress and WooCommerce.
• Experience building and maintaining custom plugins.
• Proficient in PHP, HTML, CSS and JavaScript.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and enhance multiple WordPress and WooCommerce websites.
• Build, maintain and improve custom WordPress plugins.
• Develop bespoke WooCommerce functionality to support complex e-commerce requirements.
• Implement trade and tiered pricing, customer groups and account-specific functionality.
• Develop delivery date, courier and fulfilment logic.
• Build and maintain subscription and recurring order functionality.
• Develop bulk ordering, repeat ordering and reorder tools.
• Troubleshoot and resolve website, plugin and theme-related issues.
• Develop internal web-based tools and applications for staff and operational teams.
• Build front-end interfaces for sales order entry and other processes.
• Develop tools that interact with ERP and wider business data.
• Work with internal stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver technical solutions.
• Build and maintain integrations between e-commerce platforms, ERP systems and other business applications.
• Develop and maintain integrations using REST APIs and webhooks.
• Connect websites with ERP, courier, marketing and other third-party systems.
• Monitor integrations and troubleshoot data flow and connectivity issues.
• Ensure integrations are reliable, secure and maintainable.
• Take ownership of e-commerce tracking and data collection.
• Maintain and improve GA4 data layers and GTM containers.
• Ensure tracking is consistent across production and staging environments.
• Test analytics and tracking functionality after releases and significant changes.
• Identify and resolve tracking issues where required.
• Follow development and release processes across projects.
• Use Git and version control practices.
• Apply semantic versioning and changelogs.
• Ensure changes are tested in staging before production.
