Job summary

Weatherford is seeking an experienced Senior Slickline / Electric Line (E‑Line) Repair & Maintenance Technician to join our Wireline Services team in Aberdeen. The role covers inspection, maintenance, repair, assembly, testing, and certification of Slickline and E‑Line equipment across the UK and Europe.

This hands‑on position requires extensive workshop experience, troubleshooting, and adherence to QHSE standards to ensure equipment reliability and readiness.

Qualifications

• 8–10 years of Wireline R&M experience in oil & gas.
• Strong experience with Slickline and Electric Line equipment.
• UK North Sea Wireline environment experience.
• Experience maintaining running tools, jars, stems, and logging tools.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, maintain, repair, assemble, and test Slickline and E‑Line equipment.
• Diagnose faults and implement corrective actions across mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• Redress and service wireline downhole tools and surface equipment.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records in MM systems and related platforms.
• Support mobilization/demobilization for offshore and onshore operations.
• Contribute to RCA, CPARs, and corrective action programs.
