Qualifications

• Technical background in mechanical and/or electrical systems, preferably in a turbine discipline.
• Good analytical fault-finding capabilities on Electrical, Mechanical & Hydraulic systems.
• Experience on Acciona Windpower 1.5MW wind turbines is highly valued.

Responsibilities

• Support the Turbine O&M Team and provide technical assistance.
• Prepare Risk Assessments and Method statements.
• Adapt a high level of Health, Safety, Quality & Environmental awareness.

Skills

Mechanical fault finding

Use of Hydraulic tooling

Good communication both written & verbal

Blade repairs

Use of Microsoft Office applications

Education

Mechanical or Electrical Engineering Qualification (Minimum Level 3 NVQ)
