Job summary

News UK is expanding its Sun product team in London, driving a roadmap for our web products from discovery through delivery. You will report to the Head of Product and collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business goals into actionable features.

You will balance short-term delivery with a long-term platform vision, guided by data and user insight, while engaging stakeholders and shaping the product strategy for Sun Savers, Sun Web and related apps.

Qualifications

• Proven experience and track record of leading digital product teams within a fast-paced media, publishing, or consumer tech environment.
• Deep understanding of WordPress.
• Skilled communicator, confident engaging technical and non-technical stakeholders alike.
• Excellent organisational skills, comfortable managing multiple priorities and evolving requirements.
• Strong analytical and storytelling skills: use data to drive decisions and inspire teams.
• Passion for news, media, and storytelling.

Responsibilities

• Balance short-term delivery with long-term platform vision, making trade-offs explicit and maintaining momentum across your workstream.
• Help manage the product roadmap across your given area, providing options to stakeholder groups in order to gain approval.
• Closely work with the wider Technology teams to ensure they have an understanding of requirements at an early stage.
• End to end management and delivery of products in line with business and product strategy.
• Manage relationships with other teams throughout the organisation that are required to ensure successful product deliveries.
